Scooter In Sibiu/Hermanstadt (Romania) on 31.12.2006??

I heard that Scooter will give a concert on the night from 31.12 to 01.01.2007 in Hermanstadt (Romania), because of the integrary Romanias in the EU and the event Hermanstadt European Capital of Culture 2007.
Today i saw on the romanian tel. news that the concert will be canceled...
Did someone know why??

Also ich wohne auch in Hermannstadt und muss sagen: bin echt enttäuscht. :cry: :cry: :cry: Hab mich so gefreut, dass ich die Möglichkeit habe, sie live zu hören und zu sehen und jetzt erfahr ich "nee sie kommen nicht, weil sie kein 5* Hotel haben"...echt scheissse von denen. Ich weiss, dass Hermannstadt keine geile Hotels hat, aber trotzdem, "Imparatul Romanilor" sieht doch nicht so schlecht aus und liegt auch im Zentrum. Sie haben doch allllles renoviert.
Ich mag Scooter seit meiner Kindheit und hab auch mit Leute geredet, wir haben alles geplannt bla bla und jetzt nix. :x

I hope they will change their minds. They have too. They don't need 5* luxury: they can live with 4*.

F**k this shit! I also saw that Scooter were removed from the official Sibiu2007 site. This is not fair :evil:

. I was so anxious to see this concert, we made hotel reservations, some of us paid money for this and look what happens. God damn it :x!! I can't fu**in' beleive it

sorry for the language but I'm really really pissed off! I should have known it was too good to be true...

This is very sad.

But was it official?
I think it was not on the official site in dates.
Sometimes this are only rumors, and 2 or 3 times concerts in Hungary was cancelled from the organizer and not from Scooter.
In some countries was also promotion for concerts with many bands and Scooter, but Scooter did not know about this, they only would sell more tickets.

So if it is not official don't believe this.
Scooter was more times in Russia, did you mean the hotels there are so much better?
I am sure they would play there if they are invated.

I think by shows liek The Dome or so, the rooms backstage are also not so very special, but Scooter take their own drinks with them and they make party there. :mrgreen:

Yeah, definitely agree with Britt, I don't honestly believe the guys would skip some performance just because they couldn't stay in a 5 star hotel. :lol: I'm sure they've stayed many times in not-so-fancy hotels and haven't cared about that at all..

I know that they have cancelled it. I'm not 100% sure.
Anyway, they should see this and maybe, if it's not true, talk to their manager. You can't just do such things. These things let fans down.
For example, hor3a has already booked hotel rooms.

If it was ever official it would have been on Dates here as Horseman says, so if it was never official it can't have been cancelled - you can't cancel something you have not agreed to.

And personally I think any talk about cancelling because the hotels are not good enough is rubbish. :wink:

Moscow is the MOST expensieve city in the world. It has much more rich people than any other COUNTRY in the world,just Russia. Half of those richy guys are unofficial

The best hotels,cars,clothers etc are based there.

Same goes for St.Petersburg,only it's a little less expensieve. Believe me

Nah. It's the same everywhere. People from Germany go to work to Norway or Sweden to get more money.
If you can work,you're OK everywhere,right?

That's even more expensieve than Germany

It was only 1 time, the bastards refused to pay Scooter, so they cancelled it. The other one was just a plan for a concert which didn't work out... sad
