The music just sticks in my head, and erases all the negativity in it... Is it the same for you ?

I have to ask something: how can you learn English from Scooter's songs?

To me Scooter contributed many birthday presents through the years :P

Relaxation, all the negativity oozes (I hate this word  ) out of me when listening to Scooter.

Back when I was in the army, during long hours of standing alone in the night I had Scooter songs in my head.It helped me pass the time.

To think that Scooter outlived all those boy/girl bands who were loved by much more people then Scooter makes me feel great about my choice of music.

Scooter reminds me a lot of my childhood, all those years and great time without serious adult problems that people face in their 20s.
I had a great time playing Scooter tracks as DJ on parties for friends or just people's from school who needed a DJ and see people dancing to them. Then those people saw me on the street telling me "Hey,there's the "DJ".It was great for me in m teenage years.
Other people just don't understand that "soft spot" I have for Scooter.

That's a great summary of what you feel through Scooter.

Everything about late childhood and teenagers years go back to me too when I think about Scooter, there is some nostalgy coming up sometimes, about the "good old days" just like I heard about Scooter, when there was Ferris.

People laugh, people don't understand why I like them, they say it's lame and shameful to like them at my age or something you know ? But did I tell them that loving Worlds Apart in the past is lame ? No, and I'm sure they did love them !!!!

Great thing said : Scooter is the only band that kept on going among all those shitty bands, boys band and techno bands at that time .... We made the right choice :)

@Xer: you have described your feelings about Scooter beautiful :)

I'm 41 now and no one of my friends understand why i love Scooter :? , i try to explain over and over again, that the music makes me feel happy en takes my mind of the difficult things in live, but they dont get it.
Only one, my best (girl)friend who i have met through the internet, she's a country/western fan but she is really happy for me and understands why i sometimes lose myself into Scooter music

And i understand your "soft spot".......i have it too

Fannie- Itīs a pity that they donīt understand it, it is maybe coz they have any feeling like that. The same has happened to me sometimes... But I agree with u that itīs a wonderful feeling when u get it :)

Xer- I was really bad at English until I start being a fan. Then, I got very interested in the learning and translation of the lyrics, so I got all those rhymes in my mind and searched all the words I could, while I was lerning many gramathic rules from the dictionary too. Then, the school started, and I payed more atention there. So I can say that thanx to Scooter I got involved in English

Maria, you reminded me of how Scooter "helped" me once in my English exam in school.
I remember one of the questions was to describe in a vivid way some activity outside. So I remembered Scooter's "Endless Summer" video and I described the entire clip and that there was a party on the beach and the MC was shouting "Everybody start raving this way"..."Everybody clap your hands........

My teacher gave me an A for my creativity :-)

Re: WHAT DOES SCOOTER CONTRIBUTE IN YOUR LIFES??

-speaking languages- thanks to Scooter, Iīve wanted to learn English in school. I was veeeery bad at it, and when I started being a fan, I tried to translate the lyrics... thatīs how I start learning it. German, thanks to them too.

Wah hah hah! I would NEVER recommend Scooter as a means of learning English. I might as well start learning Russian from an antelope.
