Hi all, my family and me are having totally bad times now.
Last April we heard that my father has 4 tumours in his head and since that time he's in hospital. As a result of that he got paralysed on the right side, and over the months he got worse and worse...
And yesterday we finally heard in hospital that he won't make it for long, a few days or at the most two weeks

So, i won't be here for a while, we have to organize lots of things etcetera.....

When i'm feeling better and things are quietly again, i wil come back here

Be nice to each other and hopefully see you soon...

Greetings Fannie

I hope you and your family can sort it out and live on.

Omg, no way Fannie  ! 4 tumors... and I was shocked when my dog had 1... Well, maybe you have to look at it on the only positive side: Your dad won't suffer long anymore... I know it's hard, but maybe that makes it a little less bad to think of it...

My thoughts are with you and your family.

I hope your love for each other and the happy memories of your father before he became ill will give you all stength.

I'm a christen but only because my parents made me one when I was born. I don't want to be it and want to unsubscribe from the church. Why? Because I don't believe in God. I don't believe in life after death. We are born and the only thing we know is that we'll die someday. So don't tell me that I 'know' that there is life after death, everyone thinks different. For me, birth is the beginning and death is the end. And the reason you live is because you are supposed to fill up the space between birth and death. Live your life the way you want. And when your old and very sick, you could look back at your life and think what a great time you had. That's what I think. That's my opinion.

Thank you Kujirudo for your opinion. I wont reply that because there's no need; every sentence is right, you don't deny the facts. You also spoke as every member of this forum. Congrats :D

Even the words that i quoted as sample are right... Actually your parents cant make you a christian when you are born. The fact of being a christian (or not) is stated in Matthew 9.9, Acts 8.36-38, Acts 16.30-34
but you make it possible, not your parents for you

Good to see you looking in Fannie :)

You are right - religious beliefs are a personal thing, and respect for the views of others is good :)

Take care and best wishes to your family :)

Let's see... what does really mean the verb to respect:

a)to be neutral between your opinion and mine
b)to understand the value of ... even when you don't agree with that
c) to accept ... even when you don't agree with that
d) to ignore the faults on anything you know it's wrong

You don't know the meaning of respect, i see. Shame.

Why then you demand it?

This is not the place and the time to ask such questions. You'll better think about it tomorrow

Keep talking about bad things

Artwork, you are acting over the edge here i think, i think everybody is showing respect here, at least about my news about my father...
I think that a topic about "bad times" is EXACTLY the place where you can put your "bad feelings" in...

And what in heavens name do you mean by "Why then you demand it?"
No one is demanding for all i see...
