and why he is busy? because he is just a usual Kontor worker which got this job additional after Scooter/Thele kicked admin Julia to save money for paying a real admin... yes fans are very important for them...
seems that they just needed her to organize/create new website and after it she was ready for elimination... did she also have 4 years by accident?

I can't tell Kontor how to runs its business!

But I do know, as I have managed a business before that these days to survive any business needs to cut costs and produce more :? :( . its infortunate, but a fact.

I guess its also difficult for any in the music industry because of the damage caused by illegal internet downloads :(

Of course fans are important - but when you run a business at the end of the day the balance-book says if you stay in business or not!

So was there any reaction of list of fans which want have deleted material from Excess all Areas DVD? If they really had interest to make fans happy they had put it for free download on homepage like they did @Encore DVD with missing clips of missprinted DVDs. I'm sure Julia did organize this... but now nothing and if they releaese it in future it's for sure packed into a commercial release to make money with deleted stuff.

big labels still earn enough money even with illegal downloads. they just can't stand that they would make even more millions if there was no illegal sharing. At least big artists like Scooter still make big money with their big fan community... Even Robbie Williams did call people to download his own music illegaly because label just want make full profit and already earn more then enough with him. Illegal downloads only destroy the little ones and little labels. But the big ones shouldn't moan too much, they still earn good money with their big name artists. And honestly said if labels and artists try to cheat people with several limited editions with splittes stuff or cutted mixes to not must pay for overdraw of cd playtime it's not a big wonder that more and more people start to cheat labels and artists too.
I don't say that illegal downloads are good for music industry, but the big ones only loose some millions of their millions...

AHHHHHHH (Screams uncontrollably into a glass of wine while revisong for a 3 hour wriiten examination tommorrow!!!)

All the guy asked was who to contact about booking Scooter :!: , and Sebastian contacted him!

My business experience is not within the music industry - so I guess I can't comment - but I do know that life in all areas is getting tougher and more competative!

What I would wish for as a fan is probably different to what I would do as a business - and I don't think Juia was around at the time of Encore (certainly not as forum admin) - I might be wrong - but I think she only became forum admin when the forum was re-launched in early 2004 (or possibly late 2003). I seem to remember when I met her in 2004 she had not been doing the job for very long.

I don't want to get into the topic of downloads here - because I have said my views many times before - but "sharing" is a rather nice name for it - in the same was as "joy riding" is for stealing and wrecking cars :)

you should tell Scooter about "sharing"...
they sell shared material under own name. They really should be the last band moan about stealing music. they do nothing else like people. only difference they make lot money with stealing.

Goodnight!!!

I am not in a mood to argue just now - I have my wine, and my studying books. Of course I disagree with you - but then if I did not I would be rather worried

Looks like maybe somethings are returning to "normal" here :)

I hope DaMufF has the info he / she was looking for :)
