About Michael Simon - NEW SCOOTER MEMBER

I would just like to know some more information about this guy, his style, his background.

Thanks

I know he has worked with Scooter before - the most notable thing for me is the excellent track by Sunbeam "Dreams" that he was involved in along with Rick and Ferris back in 1997.

I totally love that track, and its probably one of my favourite tunes at the moment, I even caught my son singing it a few days ago :)

Also he has been involved with remixing Scooter (LMBYV), and Scooter remixing Shanin & Simon - Do the Right Thing, so the association goes back a while

I guess we have to wait and see what happens now though.........

Does this mean he will be on stage in Ireland, and for Monsters In Germany? Or maybe these will be Jay's final performances...

NOT TO BE MISSED!!! PLEASE RECORD FOR ME AND I WILL PAY FOR IT

Simon is pretty good, from what I have heard. Im expecting some nice instumentals next album (Im sure the singles wil probably stay the same).

Welcome Michael Simon to scooters final chapter (seriously, can anyone imagine a 5th?)

Well, this would have to be one hell of a short chapter then. I was thinking before that their next album would be their last, but with this new potential creativity, they could get the stock 4 years into this chapter as well. They would have to call it quits then though, seriously.

I personally reckon they should do the 4th chapter as normal and then, after that, Rick, H.P. and either Simon or a new member should release strictly instrumental material. As much as H.P. is an important part of Scooter i don't think he can be a frontman for more than 5 more years. But there's no release why after those 5 years they can't keep producing in some capacity.

I can't picture what he'd look like on a CD cover, or even on stage...

...Can he perform using synthesis and play keyboard???

His name is way too normal, isnt it? Everyone else had a nifty name, and his is just so stock :p.

Do you always determine people capacities by their live appearance?Of course he can deal with keyboards, if he's a DJ, I really don't get, how can you write such nonsense...

Well not all DJ's are producers too, so I was just wondering...
And I'm not in the right mood to exactly come out with the right things, so you can expect that this week...

OMG

This happened too suddenly! Both ferris and axel made 4 albums and one single collection before they walked away from the band.. It would be very professional for Jay to do the same, but in my opinion, he has never been as professional as ferris and axel.

Anyways he won't be forgotten, i still love songs like Trance Atlantic, mesmerized, soul train, Weekend, and so on..
