HOW THE HELL ARE YOU ALL SO GOOD AT Fruity Fucking Loops

THIS IS PISSING ME RIGHT OFF NOW

I Have been trying for ages, to get a good sounding tune going, and it all just fucks up.
This latest one is where i tried to add 2 synths to give a different sound, as i hardly have any, and it still sounds crap...
I was hoping for it to be fun, but nhaaa..

And why is it always so damn muddy and boring and plain?! How the hell can it be livened up?!?!?!

ARGH Someone friggin help me out here before i flaming kick my PC to bits :@

maybe you are using the wrong program? try Cubase. i personally don't have any experiences with FL, but for me it will always stay an "only-semi-professional" programm

to everyone saying you need a better program i have one thing to say:
Newbies.

If your track sounds muddy you can liven it up by clever use of EQ.
Try out T-Racks (VST) or something similar.

Hey, it takes PRACTISE, as with everything else! Switching programs won't do you any good.

Fruity Loops can make you sound professionally, i'm shure... just take your time, listen to the genre you would like to make, and read some good tutorial on mastering!

I think i've been with FL for coming up to a year, but i'm hardly even moving anywhere with it :|

I tried to do a trancy version of Black magic, which is somewhere or other around here, but that just turned out really muddy lol.

Spose i do need to learn the EQ a bit, and the FX window. Ive been looking at stuff but i just cant seem to get it right at all, takes the wee !!

If anyone can show me any tricks, or send me an FLProject explaining how to get the great sound that would be great, if i can read ^^.

Imre, If you want, PM me your Email and i'll add you... Or you can guess mine, its not too hard to do really, and you can show me some tomorrow if you want.

The amount of melodies i have made then scratched cos i can't flaming do them is unbeleivable..

Depends. Personally I like FL more. Of course I say Cubase has the same stuff. I didn't think it's better in any large way...

what makes FL better than? Cubase allows you all freedom you need. the thing with Cubase is that you have to do completely you own stuff. But still 8)
