Seems that many people here don't have a clue about Lordi. They exist for 14 years already and they always wear the same masks, they didn't wear masks for Eurosong only, it's a part of their tradition.

And they got point from every single country except Monaco, they had the highest points in the history of Eurosong(292), none of the countries before had so many points. This just shows that hard rock, metal or whatever do they play, is widely popular in Europe, there's nothing to laugh at.

If you think that song was too bad, this is only your opinion, but seems you're in a minority.

I think that countries like France, Germany, Spain and other that are sure that they play their songs in the Eurovision final donīt make good songs, but other countries (like Finland, Bosnia, Russia, Sweden and more) that have to take part in the 'half-final' bring to Eurovision good songs, because they need votes the first day to be in the final of Saturday. Countries that are sure that their songs are represented on the final (because they pay a lot of money for Eurovision), don't care about if they play trash or music. For example, my country (Spain) has gone to Eurovision with one of the worst song I ever listen to for many years.
From the hot & sunny Spain!!!!

Strange thoughts....

My opinion (someone will say its subjective) is that Bosnia&Herzegovina song called "Lejla" was the best song on the Eurovision. Almost every song from different countries sounds the same, on the same way...

Journalists from every country who take a part in eurovision made decision that Bosnia song called "Lejla" is the best song on eurovision.

Russia was on 2nd place because of Ukraine, Lituania, Latvia, Belarus, Estonia.......................and how much? ? ? ?

It suxxx...

Always the same, you know who will get 12 points...

Dont understand people who voted for Lordi  that song is not for eurovision, and they shouldn't take a part in their masks. Eurovision is a serious competition.

I just watched the video...THE WHOLE VIDEO....my poor eyes...

OK, first: Congratulations Finland. There must have been a reason that you won... (although I can't comprehend the people's decision)

My impression: awful constumes(look like the bad guys from Mystic Knights or any other Fantasy series with low budget), the singer can't really sing, but since HP doesn't "sing" either I guess there is no point in argueing about that...The son itself was medium...neither good nor bad...the stage effects were ok, I guess..nice pyro and the idea with the unfolding wings is quite original...As so often the individual instrumentalists didn't get enough credit...I daresay the audience got more attention than the bass player and the drummer together...

My fasit: this must have been the best song, otherwise Finland wouldn't have won (considering maipulation was not involved)...so I'd conclude the other songs were worse...

Sorry Finnish posse...I don't want to insult you or argue about your"victory"...Peace :D

the thing with the wings is not original at all :D they have done that for a long time already - I first got to know about Lordi when I spent some time with a girl a year ago

My fave was Lordi.

But Germany and Lithuania were very good too! And these 3 are the only ones that I can somehow remember. All the others were just the same... Except Silvia Night, the worst s**t ever...
Lithuania was 6th

I liked that performance too. Song wasn't so special but it was fun. If I would have voted my vote would have go to the Lithuania.
