Better forget about the German group.
Germany have had this year only 3 acts which would go to the Song Contest, all 3 was not good.
In the past we could choose from 10 songs.

So even fans from this Song Contest like faster and harder music.
Maybe Scooter must go there next year with the Ratty masks.

 Finland won!
Their track was pure bullshit. I had had voted for Germany though :).
I haven´t watched the competion at whole, but I have see the Finns celebrating their win while performing their bad track. And I have had our song many times - and I think this is great.
God save our gracious Queen!
Long live our noble Queen!
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen.

Congratulations. :)
The song "Hardrock Hallelujah" was actually quite good, though I didn't like their costumes. They looked like a combination between Kiss and Dimmu Borgir.

As the first f##k metal-song ever won, I'm quite happy.
I would have gone on a f##k rampage if we had won.
Terrible song.

I liked your country's track alot. When i first heard it, i thought for sure that there goes our chances to win.

Also there were couple of other great Dance/Trance songs. 8)

You know, Scooter would have performed Jigga Jigga a ouple of years ago, but then they were ocvervoted by the fans of the moaning, one-hit-wonder Max...I still don't get it...

Does someone has a good video of Scooters performance there?

I just watched the video...THE WHOLE VIDEO....my poor eyes...

OK, first: Congratulations Finland. There must have been a reason that you won... (although I can't comprehend the people's decision)

My impression: awful constumes(look like the bad guys from Mystic Knights or any other Fantasy series with low budget), the singer can't really sing, but since HP doesn't "sing" either I guess there is no point in argueing about that...The son itself was medium...neither good nor bad...the stage effects were ok, I guess..nice pyro and the idea with the unfolding wings is quite original...As so often the individual instrumentalists didn't get enough credit...I daresay the audience got more attention than the bass player and the drummer together...

My fasit: this must have been the best song, otherwise Finland wouldn't have won (considering maipulation was not involved)...so I'd conclude the other songs were worse...

Sorry Finnish posse...I don't want to insult you or argue about your"victory"...Peace :D

Are we Brits the only ones that don't give two hoots about the Eurovision Song Contest and only really watch it to have a laugh at the really bad entries and Terry Wogan's cynical comments (if we can bothered put ourselves through the touture at all)? Is it really taken that seriously on the continent? :?

It wasn't really seriously taken in Finland before this winning. We were used to that our competing songs were laughed out. We were used to that peple will say '' Finland zero points!''
