I love Scooter, I dont know what happened to them...

But geez!
Scooter, why so much cheese now? Seriously? I love the old Scooter, The one that didnt copy songs, the one that was original!
Scooter. HP, Rick, Jay... you have dissapointed me so much, abandoned your old fans... When will the Scooter of old be back? I love the old sound, the new sound sucks hardcore...
You were once my favorite band, now I am embarrassed to listen to you...

well, I don't think they will turn on the spot ... music is evolving and I guess scooter will rather go forwards...Even though I also like some old productions better than some new stuff...

But scooter began covering/ripping with back in the Uk, so It's not entirely right to say that Scooter have started covering just now, you know...

There there. The older stuff wasnt as good as we thought anyway. Some of it is still sweet, but not as good as we thought. There are plenty of better artists out there anyway, and while they may not compare, we just have to make do.

yes but the sound was still there.. after shake that it is all fucken bullshit... its fucked up man... and you know it. The bsides of the 3rd chapter kick ass, nothing else. I am sending a plea from the hardcore old fans. Please! stop making this shit! The time is now... a new beginning... no more cheese, no more stupid lyrics, no more cheese... I want to be proud of Scooter. Proud of what they are. Proud of the music they make... Alas... it is no more... Rick, i know you read these forums, and you are the creative genious behind scooter and everything that was before.... stop this covering, stop this new age bull shit. People have made topics pleading to them before. Im thinking they are just making some easy bucks before they call it quits. HP's voice is starting to give anyway.

At any rate, even though Rick is the real genius in scooter, somehow I dont think he has the power to change the direction...I get the impression he is more along for the ride. Once scooter break up though I can see him starting a solo producing career that could result in some of the old spirit. But thats the only chance.

It would be nice to know who is the real reason to Scooter being so cheesy nowadays. H.P., Jay or Kontor? Anyway reason is mostly money. Cheesy tunes sells more. So they think that cheesy albums would also sell more. One thing no-one haven't understood is that people are already tired for that cheesy stuff. Expect some people who likes anything radio plays.

The basic problem is that money collecting with product Scooter&fans is now more important like spending more time on quality and creativity of music production like at their beginning. You just need to build up some frequent fans over the years and if you got them you only need more releases releases releases to keep them and make them buying. You don't need to waste time anymore for creativity or creating own idea tracks, you only need the same product and track strategy again and again for selling if you got enough "i have to pre-order and praise everything if there's written Scooter" fans.

Your dissappointment (if it is true, which i presume) is far more convincing than wholuaghsnow's frequent complaints about commercial stuff...

@WTD: i don't think Rick would start a solo career if scooter split up...Rather would Jay....Rick and HP are too old to produce stuff alone...

All older fans since beginning which loved old Scooter and old sound know when all this cheese begun...
It all started with a too quick and musical wrong replacement which made the band lost the old touch&energy. It was the biggest mistake in Scooter history ever and this mistake will destroy Scooter success for sure much faster as expected. They are already fallen from top because band and musical changes. The 2002 replacement didn't wake up the band it made them fall asleep more and more from year to year from release to release.

Yep. Scooter isn't succesful. Scotoer made mistake when they replaced member too quickly. Scooter has lost all the reputation. Scooter's classics like Rhapsody In E and Across The Sky is now forgotten. Commercialism is so cool isn't it. Scooter went downhill right when they went to cheese. Both popularity and music are now worse than ever.

I just hope that Scooter loves their cheddar.

Well i did not say it was jays fault... but shit started to go downhill from there.
The real fans (I hate to say it but DFS says it all the time) know that BTTHWJ was the last awesome album from scooter.
We asked for something like Maria, what we got (thank you scooter for listening) was the bullshit that is Apache Rocks The Bottom...
The old fans know what im talking about, and they will surely back me up upon this...

Is ARTB the trigger here now? you should wait for the next single before expressing a clear tendecy...I also don't like all Scooter productions, but I love the band for the much good stuf they have produced and that includes 3rd chapter songs...

BTW. my question has not been answered yet...I am forced to suppose that not even you, grasshopper know what a good remix is, then...
