jay's equipment

I don't know whether that's the right sub-directory, but I'll try it anyway: On One of the pics from Filderstadt (the leftone of the bigger two) U get to see most of Jay's stage equipment, and I wondered what exactly that was, since I have another pic which also shows jay on tour but instead of that little Technics gadget there is something which looks tlike a small drum computer...
(Compare Berlin and Filderstadt!!!!!!)

That's the new sampler from Roland, the SP-404 ;) In Vienna there was a few on which you could practice after the show. I tried it and it's awesome :) Has built-in effects, 5 banks and 12 channels for each sample. You can load it via USB and RCA cables, and are able to create patterns from the samples.

Wow, do you know any parts where jay used it?

BTW: Do you think Jay and Rick have all the synth-sounds saved as presets on their synths or ho do they do it?
