I bought my "Apache rocks the Bottom" CD today.

And I have to say that I´m really joyfully about it. I thought it would have been one of their worst tracks for long, but as I listened to it in full length I started to like it. I think this track is much better then either "Apache" or "Rock Bottom". The combination of this two tracks is awesome. The only sing I missed is the Rotterdam part  .

What do you think?
God save our gracious Queen!
Long live our noble Queen!
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen.

I'd say medium. I would have liked Rock Bottom alone more as a single but this is ok too. But a good b-side would have been nicer then this Snippet-version. :?

When I first heard it, I was shocked, the song sounded very boring. Then I listened to it for a few times and I find it good.

From nice beginning with H.P. the philosopher (but this phrase really has a meaning and a very clear one) to RB part that gives song a power to Apache melody, which is in first part too slow and without real bass, but in the second part it's fantastic.

So, ARTB is for me the best single of 2005, but I'd vote for good, not for fantastic. To be fantastic, it must really be special and must force me to listen to it over and over.

At first I didn't like it at all. But now (I don't know how  ) I like it very much, "Apache" melody is just cool. "Rock Bottom" don't exist for me anymore, there is only "Apache Rocks The Bottom!". Wicked track.

BTW: I recommend also orginal "Apache" from The Shadows 8)

It's medium...

Radio is great = 9/10
Extended & Dub Mix are bad = 1/10
Club Mix is great = 9/10
Snippet is the biggest shit ever from Scooter = 0/10
Countdown is a nice Gimmick for DJs on New Year's Eve Partys ( :) ) = 5/10

Total Score: 24/60 Points :P

Medium

Snippet and Countdown are just stupid jokes IMO. But I am happy when ARTB is first very melodic single for a while. Though I don't like it so much it's promising.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

Agree, it keeps getting better and better. For me it was perhaps one of the tracks that required to be listened more than once to 'open up'.. Love the lyrics! 8)

I'd say it's good, though it's a bit strange, since it's a combination of the "Apache" melody and the "Rock Bottom" lyrics. But, I get more and more used to it. :D

I really didn't like it. Really. I mean really. It's awful, and the way Scooter added those little pieces of "music" there to fill the single is unforgivable. I don't think I'll be following their releases anymore.

Cheers to those of you who enjoy it though.

Hmm, interesting. It certainly doesn't sound much like it's components, and some good bits too. I can't decide which is better, the extended or the dub...
We started in 1994....in 2012 we're still on the case!!!

I loved album versions of apache and rock bottom, so the single was a surprise. Now I love that single too!!!

Great concept to mix two songs into one!!! Will it be on the tour, or the two originals? Anybody?

I think we may have to wait until the first concert to be sure what is on the tour, or its possible it might be in a magazine or something just before.

the single is simply bad .... cheap made .... beats ... unchanged melody in its main part ... how many hours did it take to produce that ? 2 ? its really sad .. scooters music has goten to boring ... i mean there are Rick and Hp ... and Jay Frog three guys who knows all of the tricks and likes of techno and dance music and then this .... and altough rock bottom is a crasher and much better then ARTB it is also ripped ... so if you ask me at the end which chapter was the most disapointing it will be the third ( Suavemente , Shake That , ARTB , ... ) i am not waiting anymore that it will getting better or even getting a bit like the tracks in 1 or 2 chapter .... but the good old songs will not die !! :D

greez
Do you really think hardcore is death ?? hahaha think again ... Hardcore will never die !!
