Adobe Audition

I just got this program and want to use it to master my songs but I need to know if there is a way to automate effects such as flange, phase and whatnot. I figured out how to apply the effect but it just puts it over the entire song. Plus is a mulitband compressor built in? Any advice would be helpful.

I never used audition....I would recommend reading the help files. When I first used Cubase, I didn't know what the hell I was doing, everything seemed so confusing. The same with Reason, I'm still learning Reason.I just started reading the help files, and worked from there. You don't need to read through every little thing, but anything that deals with what you are trying to do or is something you would see use in, read on it.

Audition is a professional audio editting program...so if you could figure out that program, it'll increase your technical knowledge with audio editting.
