Gaming/Playing!

A topic for discussing cool games and consoles and such! better to have one topic than many separated ones about these subjects. What good games was released 2005? The best one I played was GUN a western game, a little lika GTA set in the old western but quite alot smaller. It's a great game and has cool bullet time modes and such, and you have to dig cold and earn those cold blooded cash piles. Not to mention how good the music is, quite a feeling riding over the plains while the Theme starts it nice tunes.
In conclusion, you're absoloutely wrong

My favourite game in 2005 is Grand Tourismo 4!

@Spock: I´ve got Virtua Tennis 2, too. Of course it´s old, but I think it´s a nice game! I´m too bad in this game. I only can play it on "easy"!
It´s nice to be important but it´s more important to be nice!

F.E.A.R. was fun for a while and I actually loved the demo more than the full version of the game :/. I was hoping some more horror from it but I somehow got REALLY bored in the parts where there was no horror at all and all I needed to do was shooting those enemies.
Shooting was fun and I loved to kick the enemies and see them flying like a freaking football :D

Anyway, I probably just hoped a bit too much from it. It's so long time since I've played any kind of horror games (the old Resident Evils and the first Silent Hill) that it just made me hope to get scared a bit. It had some cool story in it and I liked to watch it go on and see how it ended, but I would've probably liked it a bit more if it was a story in internet or in a book ;)

Call of Duty 2 was great :). I haven't played it on internet but the single player rocked already. A bit too much like the first CoD though but it was fun... as long as it lasted. It's a really big shame that it needed to end someday, I would've played it for days after it all finished. Oh well, it was fun, it was entertaining, it was great. What more can I expect from a game? :)

I haven't played too many games that have been released recently and then I just don't remember if a game has been released on 2005. There haven't been many SO GOOD games for me in a long time that I have got bored and haven't played so much anymore. Right now I'm just waiting to get my hands on the new Elder Scrolls game that will come out this year, I hope I can raise my gaming spirit up again with it. :)

I have always loved the Need for Speed series.
I've got nearly all of them! :D
I think Need for Speed Most Wanted is really good. It's like a merger of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and Underground 2! :)

If you play alot of San Andreas and then stop playing it all of a sudden, start playing other games and wait months till you play San Andreas again then it's that great feeling about it again

Well the best game I've ever played is Final Fantasy VII (7). I also remember some great gaming momemts from MANY years ago when I played Castlevania: Simon's Quest. I still haven't finished it though :P. I don't even have it anymore, but it left me an awesome memory anyway :)

Absolutely right, and 100% agreed!! Today's awesome-3D-masterful-superintelligent bullsh1ts give nothing as entertainment.

At the moment I started Arcanum (awesome rpg game), and I load up Diablo2-LOD from time to time to play on Bnet.

I played Counter-Strike in the pro-leauge for 3 years back in 2000-2003...
After that I switched to Elasto Mania which I still play every day

AND I'm a Half-Life fanatic, usually trying to beat my own record accomplishing the whole game. My current record is 1hr 39min 42sec ;)
