Where is Stripped Single version?

I thought Stripped Single version will be a bonustrack on new album or single. But it isn't? why? Now i think we will never hear this track. I think they had problems with release of this track and of this reason they released suavemente and not stripped.

As you can see, it's not.

There were already many discussions about Stripped, I'm sure that you don't even have to go to next site of this forum, because you have topic(s) on the same page.

basically, on 16th of January 2005, Scooter said that the next single was Stripped.

And then, Suavemente is released.

They didn't lie. They had been working on the single edit of "Stripped" for a couple of months, when they realized that it wasn't good enough, so therefore they released the "Suavemente" maxi-single instead of "Stripped".

We can hope to get it on the next single compilation. (I'm hoping after 12 singles they will release one even if they stay with Jay Frog.) If they put out a third single from 'WGTLLN?' and then an independent single after that. That will make 12.

Yes! The collection albums "Rough And Tough And Dangerous [Singles 94/98]" and "Push The Beat For This Jam [The Second Chapter]" also contains unreleased tracks, remixes and live tracks, not just single edits. Maybe the next collection album will contain unreleased tracks such as "Stripped (Single Edit)" and "Mosh Selecta" plus some recordings from the WGTLLN 2006 tour and some unreleased remixes in addition to the single edits?! :D

Well Scooter didn´t lie about that because in between they stated that they changed plans.
But they lied about new Ratty songs and a new DVD. Both were promised for 2005. They still have exactly 100 hours left in 2005 and I doubt there will be a release :P
I´d like to hear why these plans have been changed or why they promised those things when they were never planned.
100 % of the Mexican Scooter Posse :)

I don't know about Ratty - maybe they were just too busy.

Also the DVD - I guess it was the intention to release one this year - but maybe they felt there was not enough material yet, and decided to delay it until after the Tour, when they will have more live stuff, including tracks from WGTLLN.

I really do hope we get a DVD soon. (but yes - I doubt if it will be in the next 100 hours  )

DVD is better to release after a Tour before a Tour! So that was a little bit too fast to say at the Begin of 2005: "We release a DVD 2005" :?

About a new Ratty Song: They are too busy to produce a new Track! :(

Better said too lazy! They said in January this year that they planed a new Ratty release and now year is gone. I don't think you have not some days or weeks to work on a new Ratty track in 1 year. You just need to take the time like they do when they produce new Scooter stuff. There is always the excuse too busy - no time now when fans ask why no bonus tracks why no new Ratty track or sideproject why no B-side... But in past they taken time for this and were also busy with Scooter like today.

I wanted 'Stripped' too, but Scooter have a right to change their minds.

Yes man and I would never expect such a reply from an fresh third chapter is inviolable fan cause we don't noticed the other ones live in USA like this. :P

Fact is that they produced more stuff like now beside Scooter with same time conditions. Or where is a third chapter sideproject like Ratty with remixes and own releases?

Re: Where is Stripped Single version?

Scooter released all 4 years and after about 11 singles a best of album.
I think this year come the third album of that kind.
Scooter make also a projekt with The Bloodhound Gang. It calls HANDS ON SCOOTER! It could be the single to the best of album!

What is Mosh Selecta? Did i miss something?
About stripped: I think they changed their mind because maybe the feedback on the album was too bad in general (U know that MTG is tooooooo much toooooo experimental, so they focussed on a more "raveable" track). Besides: Ramstein also released a "well, unusual" version of that originally depech mode song...

well, why don't we call it a coincidence, that Ferris and Axel left after 4 years. i don't think you should make up a rule-based on only 2 occasions- saying that they MUST publish a best-of thingy. I guess Jay will break with the 4-year tradition, since he broke with the "no #1 Single in Germany" as well
