I wish that they never will stop.

I remember about some interviews in which they have said that they will make music so long as it is possible.

I never think about thing that Scooter guys will say someday: "allright, it's end of Scooter".

I heard many interviews where they said that they will be on the stage to the end (for example Rick said that he will never stop producing because music is his life).

I saw Billy Idol some time ago and believe me, he is better than ever! I can imagine 50 years old H.P. on the stage without any problem right now.

Maybe it's realistic topic but senseless in my opinion.

they won´t retire until their death
Only people lost mind of reality vote for this :)
and after their death they will come back as zombies just for you...

If they continue with this sound and this way of producing they destroy Scooter by themselves faster as expected. They are loosing fans and success goes down immense. There is a need for refreshment and fresh air in the band if Scooter want survive some further years. I don't believe it will come, but a new chapter would be a change to reawake Scooter. If they continue this way without any changes it's only a matter of time until end of Scooter.

Ok maybe not until death, but maybe until peopl with normal work are going in pension.
Maybe not on stage, but they can make CD's, remixe and produce other artists. :D

I don't really agree.
You are forgetting on a fact that Scooter is also gaining new fans, there are many teenager fans, that have become fans in the 3rd chapter and this type of music sounds the best for them.Old fans may be leaving Scooter, but new fans are coming-emigration and immigration  .

I still think that number of Scooter fans is remaining rather constant, some from the very beginning, some from few years ago, and some that have left, what's normal.

Many young fans can be seen on the concerts, at three last concerts that I visited, there were mostly teenagers and suprisingly a lot...girls. :P

Maybe new fans will replace old ex fans/buyers Butcher, but last selling success doesn't confirm a lot new buying fans. Selling success going down extremly. Sorry that i say this, but it is reality as you can see.

You also forgot that teenagers also changes they're taste of music far too often. They usually haven't selected their style what they want to hear. They just go with the flow.

I think that unfortunately Scooter's music sounds too much like "have to do this album". All happiness is gone. CD-cover with laughing faces can't help that. Scooter should get cheer back or they will be retire after one album and one or two collection.

What I want Scooter to do in situation like this, is to take year or two rest and then go back to studio to make new tracks.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

yeah but if there is no will to create some new own-creative tracks like in past every studio time or downtime is senseless. 1 year studio work for WGTLLN and again a 99% pure remake and rip-off album like MTG.

@ Butcher: Oh, i do not think all older fans would leave Scooter.

@ wholaughsnow: On Who's Got The Last Laugh Now? excluding the intro there are 2 own tracks, Unity Without Words Part III and Mesmerized. Both tracks sounds great and i think this tell that Scooter is not suffering of lack of ideas. Yeah, 2 tracks is not much out of 12 but it's better, then nothing, eh? And personally, i still do not give a fuck about covering and rip-offs. For example the new album sounds awesome and that's what counts. And when Scooter does make a cover, they always manage to get their own style on it. It's not just a warm-up or anything...

Mesmerized is the only track on new album i really like, but it's also not a 100% own track idea it contains vocal samples from Whiteroom tune. Now i'm dissapointed that even Mesmerized is not a 100% own idea tune.

WHITEROOM - The White Room (produced by Adam White&Andy Moor 2004)

And intro has also samples...

Sorry, i forgot that for example Tiësto used that some female vocal... :)
Well if Mermerized is not totally own, at least Unity Without Words Part III is.

Edit: I read this review on Findance.com and there was written, that there are 3 own tracks... :?

It's true, but another reason why selling success has fallen is the power of sharing programs that are widely distributed novadays. Before few years there was no such massive downloading of any music.I know that it's not fair, but I also use sharing programs massively (and sincerely, I never regret it), because prices in the music industry are too high today.OK, I buy original Scooter albums and of some other artists too, but there are many other I like too, but I don't buy the CD, because they don't arrive to our country and I don't use eBay or such things because of some problems few years ago.E.g. albums or singles of U96, one of my favourite artists, have almost never arrived to CD-stores in Slovenia.

@ Butcher: Oh, i do not think all older fans would leave Scooter.

I've never said that all fans would leave Scooter, but someone that experienced rave-era and happy hardcore sounds, in most cases isn't so keen on Scooter today.Once again, I'm saying those who experienced, not those who have all the older albums.

But I didn't experience this era either.

This is partially true, but most of them find their real interest, which they follow in their teenaging years.I remember that most of my schoolmates in a middle school were already strictly classified according to music genres and haven't really changed their style afterwards.

There is/was mostly rock and metal.
