Vanguard

Hi everybody,

I think most of us producers here uses the software plug-in Vanguard. Well, about that plug-in I got a question :wink:

In Vanguard there is a function called 'trance-gate'. With this function you can create a typical trance-sound. But, this function does only work with the sounds that are in Vanguard itself.

The fact is, is that I don't use many of this sounds but record my own sounds with my synthesizer. Does anybody know a plug-in which can do the same as the trance-gate function in Vanguard, so that I can make this sounds too with my synthesizer?

It's obviously called "Gating" so do a search on the net or something.
I use FL Studio myself, and i know there's a generator for the Buzz Effect Adaptor that lets you do stuff like that to whatever you want. (it all comes with FL).

I you don't use it i guess this was pretty useless info, except for the google/search part.

I use MG Triggergate. Its a free plugin and it works quite well for me.

vanguard is SICK!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I've never tried using any other sounds... well ive never thought of it LOL
