The Stadium Techno Experience

Just want to know what you all think about The Stadium Techno Experience. For me these is the very best of Scooter, i like that Album most. Maybe this is part of the fact they I have just become a Scooter Fan before releasing this Album. The first song that made me kind of Scooter was "Ramp! (The Logical Song)". There are lots of good songs on some other CDs, but i canīt see any Scooter Compilation w/ a whole of good tracks like this one. "Ignition" is definetly the best Intro of all, "Weekend" and "The Night" are maybe the best tracks w/ pitched voices! :) Furthermore I realy like the Instrumentals "Soul Train", "Level One" and "Pulstar". The one and only kindly worse track is "Liquid is Liquid". Iīm just wondering what do you think about this album?! Which tracks do you like, which donīt you? Hopefully there will be some tracks taken from this Album for the Tour, and not that much from "Mind the Gap" ;)..

PS: Excuse me, if this topic had been before. Havenīt found any, though.. :?

TSTE has some nice songs, mainly the instrumentals, but I generally rate it as one of the poorer albums. Having said that, its still the best from the third chapter so far IMO. Its not bad or anything, but just too commercial for my liking.

I like it a lot.
It has many good songs and big melodies. Take a break, like a hypa said and swinging in the jungle (in my album it appears with this name instead of roll baby roll) they are fantastic songs, though they were not turning in signles, then maria is simply powerful in bass-drums it has a great melody and it is magnificent, weekend it is one of the better songs with pitched voice, and the instrumental songs are all very good, except to little bit too fast. It was a great album, the first of Jay, that indicated me that 3rd chapter would be so good as other 2.

So far it's my favourite album from the 3rd chapter, although I seriously think that WGTLLN? will occupy 1st place.

What I like on the album:
-great intro, fits perfectly with Maria
-Maria, Weekend, Swinging in the Jungle, Take a Break, Like Hypa said - nice songs, my favourites are SITJ and Maria. The Night is too similar to Weekend
-all instrumentals except A little bit too fast

What I dislike on the album:
-as already mentioned, Night is too similar to Weekend!
-A little bit too fast is one of the worst instrumentals ever, these vocals are annoying

In general, it's cool album, a nice introduction for the 3rd chapter and booklet is great too.

TSTE includes couple of awesome songs. Soul Train, Like Hypa Said, Weekend! & Pulstar are just awesome. But also there is very bad tracks like The Night (prefer Extended), Roll Baby Roll and A Little Bit Too FAst. If there's should be already extended version of The Night in the album and not Little Bit Too Fast, it could be one of the best ones. Now it's better than MTG, but just average album.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

Can't believe so many people consider TSTE the best album . I mean, its alright, but there are so many better ones out there. Each to their own I guess.

I think too that The Stadium Techno Experience is one of the best albums. My favorites are Maria (I Like It Loud), Level One and Soul Train.

sometimes i read of you i think that "soultrain" could be one of the most under-rated scooter tracks so far. i realy like this track, because itīs so full of speed and power and i have heard of many who think the way i do. maybe we will get a chance to get this on the next tour :).

and to compare TSTE w/ other albums scooter released so far iīm just wondering how some people could tell TSTE as an medium album, except music tastes are different - and thatīs for good, though. but just to point out my state of view. i think "age of love", "we bring the noise", "mind the gap" are 3 of the poorest scooter albums. except of "stuttgart", "let me be your valentine" and "back in the UK" there are not to much good songs on "our happy hardcore". "...and the beat goes on" is one of the best albums behind TSTE (w/ songs like waiting for spring, rhapsody in E, friends ans so on!!) and there are some great tracks on "no time to chill", but all in all no one can compare w/ TSTE :).

Absolutely best album ever!!!
first of all it came out in the best period of my life. 2nd -scooter have never been on that heavy rotation on tv and radio the way they were in the TSTE days, and i like that-its good to pump up your tv when you see scooter. i wanted everyoine to know which is my favoreite band.
3rd and most important-the tracks.
weekend, the night and maria are like the ultimate radio megahits. rally nice choruses, pumping beats in the extended and club versions and clear sound.
soultrain, level one-these songs made a deep trace in me like a song producer, soultrain is my music bible.
lyke hypa said and pulstar are so uplifting
take a break has the soldier type of melody i always liked and roll baby roll has pipes-my favorite instrument.

liquid is liquid has hard pumpin club sound and wicked main lead.
a little bit too fast is awesome too

a few times i felll in trance listening to soultrain and like hypa said.
this is the album i have listened so many times, so its a little bit boring for me and i will never feel that fire in me when listening to it again, which i regret the most :(

TSTE's a good album. Like the other albums of the 3rd chapter, i think it's a little bit lacking in direction (just a bit) and quite rushed, although less so than MTG and WTTLLN.

The album version of The Night was weak, i'm not so keen on Roll Baby Roll anymore, Pulstar is a bit of a waste of a track. But Maria, Weekend, Take A Break, Level One, Like Hypa Said and Soultrain are all corckers.

If the guys had spent a bit longer touching it up (i.e. making The Night like the single version, or replacing Roll Baby Roll with something a little more rugged and techy (to fit in with the other "techno" tracks), making a few more original tracks) it would have been a truly incredible album. It's pretty good as it is though.

yeah putting that repetition version of the night is a big mistake. it ruins the experience of the album. but at least the better version of maria is on the album

Yes this album is nearly perfect. It has really a stadium techno feeling. The only worse thing is The Night. The Radio Version is much better. But all the rest is really good and fits together. One of the albums you can put in your stereo and just let it go. Also it's a good mix between HP tracks and instrumentals. This is what's missing on the last two albums. Too less instrumentals.

There were good and bad things about TSTE in my opinion. More good than bad. Scooter just let the bad things get out of hand on the last two albums, for me.

The lack of direction got worse, randomness of styles got worse, level of covering remained pretty much the same (the covering/sampling was a bad aspect of TSTE that needed correcting), production sounds rushed and as if they are working towards forced deadlines etc
