How many gothic/freak fans are there?

I was wondering how many fans of Scooter are gothic/freaks. In Chicago on 9/9 on saw several freaks at the concert and was very surprised. Also, is it just me or there wasn't a single black fan at the concert?

Well I know gothic style, and I'm not really into it... but what do you mean by "freaks"? :|

I used to be into goth and wicca, but I sorta grew out of it. It just doesn't reflect who I am anymore.

Goths and freaks are similiar. Although, freaks tend to wear more chains on their clothing, one time I saw one with about 50 chains draped all over his pants. Also, freaks tend to be more into the pot-smoking and death metal scene, while goths like more tradional rock and rave music. Also, their drug of choice is usually Xtasy. I earned all this just from observing goths/freaks in high school. Thats why I'm saying that was pretty surprised to find several freaks at a dance concert.

Mateusz,

My favorite bands are

1) Scooter

2) Masterboy

3) DJ Bobo

4) Modern talking

I'm EMO! I hate society! I hate myself! I'll never get laid!

I'm gonna go cut my wrists while I cry whilst listening to My Chemical Romance!

<end SEVERE sarcasm>

I hate emo. I hate gothic.

Why you may ask? Because every single one I've met is either an asshole or a full blown hypocrite.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

I don't think "observing" people in highschool would be a good base on what exactly the gothic/freak culture is like. In highschool you have a lot of people raging against the machine, and leaching off of everyone else. I realized that during highschool, everyone who had about the same appearance as me, all really looked the same. We all just took everything about our personalities and fashion from eachother. We were essentially a hive-mind.

I realized that after highschool, that i found my own sense of fashion/ethics/personality. It's a lot different.

I've got half black half white hair, and i love me some Hardcore (punk) music, but you can bet your ass i drove 9 hours, and danced my ass of for scooter.

I'm 22. Most people grow out of the stoner/freak phase after high school. That's why you seldom see any older than 20. All I'm saying is that it suprised me that people of this group listen to scooter, that's all. Just like you'd be surprised to find a redneck listening to rap.

Lol, I'm 21.

I think it's a phase where you try to find yourself and you try out different styles to see if it does reflect your personality or not. Also you tend to go after whatever your friends do, and all my friends in that period listened to Heavy metal and stuff like that. I quickly realised that metal was too hard for me, even if I like some of the guitar and drum solos they have.

Ha ha...found a picture of me in my wicca period. I wasn't gonna share this with you posse, but why not, you can't take yourself too serious. (and yes my hair is as long as it is today even if it looks short)
