Well, I tried to mix and master this as best as I can. I used a lot of Scream 4 because it's the only way to get really good distortion for hard tracks in Reason.
This track didn't come out as good as I wanted, mainly with mixing and mastering (and some of the leads). I might make small modifications and attempt to mix and master it again. But, I want to work on other tracks sometime this month.
The title "Escape From Rotterdam" doesn't really fit the track, originally this was supposed to be a redone version of "Da Boombox", which was a very Hard Trance track.
I probably put too much distortion, but making hardstyle isn't easy. Even Deepforces has trouble making Hard tracks using Reason...and he gets paid to do it. If anyone heard the new remix he did of "The Megara 2005", you'll notice everything but the bass drum gets drowned out by the layered lead melody.
I could use feedback, being that this is my first attempt at doing something really hard using Reason.
As for "Save the World", I need to make some changes to the set up (maybe freeze half of the tracks)...because my cpu has been having trouble with playback once the break between the verse and chorus occurs. It cuts off and lags, could be my soundcard (I don't have a good sound card, it's the lowest quality Audigy soundcard - I might look into Emu-X). I might need to buy new RAM as well.
I'll have a demo of "Save The World", a much cleaner one than the previous.
Well, enjoy...feedback is appreciated.
