BTW, Gary Glitter is favourite music artist of mister George W. Bush....

Heh...really?

Anyway, i think Gary Glitter is good. Got some of his vinyls and so...

You should say 'his songs are good'.He is not good in anyway!

And Mr. Bush even decided that his songs will be played as a backrground after some International meeting.
Of course many visitors were disappointed.
Ah, Mr. Bush...

Why they were disappointed? What do you actually mean by that?

Gary Glitter=paedophile
His songs were played after some meeting few months after that when Glitter was accused of being a paedophile! There were also visitors from UK.

And even if Mr. Bush would decide to play this songs 20 years later, it's disrespectful to foreign visitors, especially to those from UK.

It was Bush's decision to play Glitter's songs, of course!

UH, how many topics since I was here for last time!I'm too lazy to read them all, but I s'ppose I didn't miss really much.

I like title of the new single and album, however.I hope it'll be good and a bit more harder than MTG.

You know what, I respect Scooter because they always try new things. Many artists just use the same sounds, same style of music, everyone has to have limits. Music is limitless, and Scooter has explored that limitless aspect of music to the max.

Like they said, they are a collage....I'ld rather here a song called "Hello (Good to be back)" which sounds like something new from them, than see how every artist just limits themselves...they need to make music specifically one way and that's it. Scooter does what they want, and guess what? They have something to offer from everyone.

Yeah, they aren't Trance, Techno, Dance....they are everything associated with synthesized music. No limits, that is the musical aspect I have. I try different things, different sounds, even different styles of music just for the hell of it.
Shout-outs go to: SLK, Hard C. Pusher, Soul Train, Dream Guardians, Deepforces, Ic3m4n, Trance-Atlantic, and N.E.O.N. Project. Thank you for your supports and feedback.

I am not 100% sure i will buy it, but I guess that will be a matter for my concsience, I guess I am just dissappointed :(

I have said what I feel - I can't help the way it makes me feel.

If I say every thing Scooter do is great I am called a fanatic - well this I don't agree with, so I think I should be able to say so and why. Its got nothing to do with how the new track will sound, I have no doubt it will be great - I do have complete faith in Scooters ability to produce great music, and I think they are the best live act ever. I still am a big fan, I just don't like this.

I have said about all I want to - I guess you all know how I feel - maybe its to do with all the publicity that has surrounded Mr Glitters antics over the past few years in the UK, and also its a lot to do with being a mother I guess - when you have small children to care for and love,

It just find it upsetting.

I will try not to say anything else on the subject, as I will not change your views I guess, and you won't change mine, I just wanted to explain thee way I feel. And my conscience is something I've got to live with

Well, i can understand your viewpoint, Sandra. Obviously, i don't feel as strongly about this issue as you do but still i can totally understand what you're saying. And I certainly don't see how anybody can say that you are being "stupid" or "immature" to say what you're saying.

This is ridiculous. Some of you are talking about not buying the CD of the band you like, because they have (is it confirmed now, by the way?) covered an artist who had pornographic images of children on his pc back in 1997. He was punished for this and served 4months in jail. Cry me a river, build a brigde and get over it.

Sorry, but I can't do anything but laugh at this whole situation.
No offence to any of you.

You need to calm down..

In 1997 Gary Glitter delivered his PC to a computer shop, they found child-pornography on his hard drive. later, in 1999, he was convicted and served his 4 months in jail. Thats all that ever happened, as far as i know.

I have a lot of respect for you Sandra and I'm sorry to see you in this moral delimna, :( but I want to share with you my opinion about the matter. First I don't think we can concretely say if it's Gary Glitter or Oasis or another artist. Second, even if it is Gary Glitter you must understand what this guy went on to do in his life after writing this music is, first off, unrelated, secondly, he must answer to God for his transgressions, and third, Scooter's version is so altered there is no real connection. I heard it at the Chicago concert and, having not heard Gary Glitter's original version of it, I can't tell you if the samples are from him or not, but the chorus is definitely something like "hello, good to be back, good to be back!" To me it's just too big of a stretch. I mean just because they quoted that line? Remember they quoted Sherryl Crow with the line "all i wanna do is have some fun, i've got a feeling I'm not the only one" but do they have anything to do with Sherryl Crow :?: No. I think this is the same way it is with this single. This is probably the only line they will use but instead of high-pitched-voice-overing it they are just going to sample it, but in the end you must do what you feel is right. :)
