Pictures on Scootertechno

Sebastian is it maybe possible to zip new pictures and make them available for download on official page? You can't save them directly because Flash-Homepage. But it would be nice if you could save them directly without Screenshot work. :wink:

Or is it not possible because copyright?

I have ask Julia in the past about that and she told me, that they have make this step because many People, that want make Money on eBay, have make with that Pics T-Shirts and have sell them... that's the fact that they put the Pics with a Size of 290x290 as Flash on the Site....

Maybe it were an idea if fans could buy them as real pics, or maybe they could pay for a real good download.

I am sure only fans would buy them and not people which would make money. :D

I think it's good the way we have it. At least we get pictures. We could have not gotten any at all, so I'm happy the way it is.

Meinst du nicht das wäre etwas übertrieben? Wo soll das noch enden? Am Ende wird auch noch fürs Forum und den Besuch der Page Geld verlangt. Dann können Scooter ihren Fans aber gleich zuwinken, nicht jeder ist bereit für jede Kleinigkeit Kohle zu zahlen nur weil Scooter draufsteht oder zu sehen ist. :wink:

Man sollte den Fan-Kommerz nicht auch nocht selbst unterstützen als Fan. Scooter verdienen schon mehr als genug mit ihrer Musik im Verhältnis zu normalen Jobs. Da sollte man nicht auch noch Kohle mit Fotos machen um Fans die Münzen aus der Tasche zu ziehen meiner Meinung. Man kann ja ab und zu auch mal was geben für die treuen Fans die schon jahrelang kaufen und nicht nur nehmen.

In erster Linie ging es ja darum den Mißbrauch von nicht Fans zu unterbinden und Fans die Möglichkeit zu eröffnen die Fotos in besserer Qualität zu bekommen. :D

Diese Idee würde aber keinen großen Sinn machen außer Scooter süchtigen Fans das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. Ich brauche jedenfalls nicht von jedem Foto eine Hochglanzauflösung über den ganzen Bildschirm. Ist halt nur aufwendig jedesmal Screenshots machen zu müssen wenn man sich die Bilder sichern will. Das speichern kann man ohnehin nicht verhindern, von daher wäre es halt einfacher wenn man sie direkt speichern könnte.

An Fotos kommen die Leute so oder so. Es gibt auch hochauflösende Pressefotos an die man ohne große Probleme rankommt. Das wird sich nie vermeiden lassen das irgendwelche Leute Scooter Fotos für andere Zwecke missbrauchen.

Und zudem sieht man ja was mit irgendwelchen kostenpflichtigen Download Angeboten wie dem Download Shop passiert ist. Da könnte man doch so Sachen wie die Stripped Single Version oder unveröffentlichte Live Aufnahmen zum Download anbieten. Aber da passiert ja auch nix mehr seit Betriebnahme. Ausgenommen der Abzockgeschichte mit dem Live Konzert das Wochen später sowieso auf die Mind The Gap Bonus CD kam mit einem ausgetauschtem Track im Vergleich zur Download Version die es nur im Paket gab! :twisted:

I don't think that it is so very importend. :wink:

We only discuss if it were good if we could buy pics in better quality for download, Pitchshifter mean people which will make money with them get them anyway and it were not ok if fans must pay for pics.
Maybe he is right it was only an idea. :wink:

A solution to protect the pictures would be be to place "watermarks" on them. Its not impossible to remove watermarks, but if you use high character width the photo is destroyed at removal - you could use that megaphone @ very high proportions.

And actually using flash gallery its the same as posting pictures. Ripping is easy - dont look at me, I just know how, I wouldn't sell printed shirts, but I would make a great unique T-shirt only for me ;)

I think it would be the best to throw some watermarks on them even now because it's pretty easy to get those pictures. That way even if people try to use them, they know where they came from. :)

I have another question. I don't know if there is something wrong with my PC but since a while I'm not able to watch the pictures (e. g. in the news section or gallery) anymore. Has something changed or is it a mistake of the PC? And what do I have to do to see them again? Thank you for any help.
