Yo guys, you know what professional remixers do sometimes, they take parts of the song from the most reliable source, the song itself....why look for samples when you can make your own...if I had a copy of the song on my cpu (I have the actual song on a cd I bought), I could try to splice some parts out, mainly vocals because vocals is all you really need, you can look up the midi to get an idea of how the melodies are played...but if you want samples, do some good audio editting with the song in wav format.
Hell, you can even have a full part..like the part with the drum roll and him saying how much is the fish...do a transition into your own track so it fits in well. Man, I wish I had the song on my cpu, I would try to edit the song so you guys might have some possible samples, or at least a usable portion of the track to put in your song.
What do you think cj stone did in the remix of shake that? He took an actual part of the song, figured out the melodies and blended it in with his own material.
