Your kick is low on your two new tracks, I would boost up the kick...if you listen to a lot of modern techno and dance artists (trance, house, hard dance, hardcore, hardstyle, dance, techno, etc), their kicks stick out usually, sometimes they don't as much as some other instruments or samples but you can usually feel them...it's one of the hardest things to perfect for me...the kick makes a big difference though...
Shout-outs go to: SLK, Hard C. Pusher, Soul Train, Dream Guardians, Deepforces, Ic3m4n, Trance-Atlantic, and N.E.O.N. Project. Thank you for your supports and feedback.

Dave: Jeps, Suomestahan tässä ollaan :)

Talesoffantasy, I know what you mean about the kick thing, I mean you can hear it these days, but I dunno if it's that good thing in tracks. I've heard some tracks where the kick goes over everything and then the melody and else, well, you can't even hear them.
And about the tracks... Well, I thought about increasing the volume of the kick, but kinda thought it wouldn't be necessary.

I would experiment with it S4E, you never know if it's necessary unless you really try....I think what you might be thinking is people who use low end frequencies and jack up the kick through low end frequencies which gives the song a muffled sound.

I was thinking of just making the kick audible, not overlapping everything, but being recognized a little bit....you could use a little bit of low end frequencies, and mess around with mid range and high end frequencies to boost the treble. That way the kick doesn't muffle out the song, but at the same time can be heard alright. It's really all aboutr experimenting, and also using different kicks.

I notice that each song needs it own special kick sample, some kick samples work with tracks and don't fit in with others. It's tough to find the right kick, and to have it set in with the song just right. After observing songs by other artist, and then going back to my tracks I've seen what could work or would not work.

Some types of music I would observe is techno artist, I wouldn't observe Hard Trance, Hardstyle, or Hard Dance, because some artist overlap the kick and others don't acknowledge it well enough. Melodic Trance is good, techno and Dance work well to get ideas on how to use the kick.

It's all up to you though, if you feel the kick is right, then leave it. It's your music, I am just giving advice...thanks for taking time to read it though, you're right though with some artist overboosting the kick...it can work, but sometimes it doesn't. It's all a matter of taste at that point.

Talesoffantasy, yep experimenting has to be done, I know. Sometimes you just can't get the right sounding kick no matter what you do, I can't remember what was the most changed one, but it must have been numerous times. Firstly with the "original" kick and then trying to change that for various directions and then trying multiple different kicks :)

And, I think that what you said about each song needing it's own, different kind of a kick is very true.

Hey and it's great to read your posts/comments. I mean really, first of all very understandable  and importantly it's something that is interesting and well thought about on your part.
